The CNC die-forging hammer, also known as a program-controlled hammer, plays a vital role in the forging industry. It represents one of the world's most precise die-forging equipment types. This hammer is a forging device where both the blow energy and the forging sequence can be digitally controlled. It is suitable for high-volume production of various precision die-forged components for industries such as automotive, motorcycle, engineering machinery, hydraulic fittings, hardware tools, architectural hardware, daily-use hardware, medical devices, kitchen and bathroom hardware, agricultural tools, and cutting tools. Furthermore, it is widely used in the aerospace industry for high-density, specially-shaped parts and serves as the core equipment in automated precision forging production lines.
The fundamental operating principle of the C92KA CNC full-hydraulic die-forging hammer is as follows: It utilizes a motor-pump-accumulator drive system. The lower chamber of the cylinder is constantly connected to the accumulator, maintaining a constant pressure. The control system manages the upper chamber independently. When the upper chamber intake valve (also called the strike valve) opens, high-pressure oil from three sources—the pump, the accumulator, and oil diverted from the lower chamber via a differential circuit—enters the upper chamber. This action accelerates the ram downward for the forging stroke. Once the upper chamber pressure is released, the ram immediately and quickly retracts. Precise control over the strike energy is achieved by managing the duration for which the strike valve remains closed.

、High forging precision and superior surface finish.
、Strike energy can be accumulated; if one blow is insufficient, multiple blows can be delivered. A smaller hammer can handle larger tasks.
、Wide applicability. It can forge thin-walled parts, complex-shaped parts difficult to fill the die cavity, parts with thin ribs, and parts requiring strict height tolerances.
、High die longevity.
、Fast blow frequency and high production efficiency.
、Robust machine body rigidity and strong resistance to off-center loads, suitable for multi-cavity forging.
、The hammer rod uses a flexible, thin-rod structure, eliminating over-constraint and die-locking issues.
、Capable of forging at "lower temperatures," resulting in high surface finish and stable chemical properties of the forged part.
、Blow energy can be precisely controlled via programming, ensuring good repeatability and stable forging quality.
、Both the forging steps and the energy for each step can be programmed and controlled.
、High material utilization rate for forged pieces.
、Reduces the skill level required from hammer operators.
、Can be integrated with forging robots to form automated production lines.
